the pirate santa

With less than a week until Christmas there isn't much time left to enjoy this D-lish holiday drink... Ye must be a try'n it!

I am not ashamed to say I am an avid Piña Colada drinker, so naturally, I like to combine coconut and pineapple with other things. One of my favorites is Parrot Bay with pineapple juice and vanilla ice cream! It is my love of combining these two flavors that led me to the discovery of The Pirate Santa.

And I am betting you Aaarrrgh going to be smitten with The Pirate Santa as much as me! I know it's crazy to think I am the first person to have pirated this treasure, especially in the tropics, but I couldn't find a recipe online. That 'tis why I have decided to take it upon me'self to make sure there is at least one.

The only ingredient not pictured is pineapple juice. But alas, all the photos with the can in them seemed a bit too much like I was promoting three brands rather than the awesome-sauce itself. So without further ado...

The Pirate Santa

⅓ cup pineapple juice
⅓ cup egg nog
1 shot coconut rum
& a dash of spice (I used cinnamon here.) Next time I'm going to try nutmeg!
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum and a very Merry Christmas!
